Small Food Factory Design & Project Management for a Boutique producer

We recently assisted a small boutique producer move from a large commercial kitchen to a small food factory with all the elements of a larger premises. The project had a tight budget, but with some detailed reverse engineering we were able to design a factory that had the correct product, people and waste flows of a much larger and expensive factory.  It was critical that the factory provided a high hygienic finish and flows to satisfy national standards and client audits.

The total site was circa 470m2 or 5060 sq/ft and included, small canteen, Goods In, Debox, Low Care Prep, Low Care Cook, High Care Prep, Low Care Pack, Wash Room and Low and High Care Change.

The new premises has allowed the producer to expand their product range, gain Salsa accreditation and gain orders from one of the large food suppliers.
